Bring the family and enjoy games and activities on our family fun day whilst experiencing the ambience and history of the 220 year old Windmill.

• Kids can bring their teddy to ride the Windmill Zip Wire!

• Bring a picnic and/or enjoy refreshment from the Visitor Centre

Experience the marvel of the Windmill sails and machinery turning (subject to wind conditions)

• Explore the windmill at your own pace, with guides available on each floor to assist and answer questions.

• Chat to our guides and explore the interpretation material to learn how the windmill worked

• Learn more about the history of the site, the recent restoration and the role of wind power through time through digital touchscreen technology in our visitor centre

• Enjoy tea, coffee and snacks from our refreshment stall

Windmill Tour by separate ticket £6 Adult, £2 Children

Please note that to access the upper floors of the windmill:

• Children must be over 100cm tall

• All visitors must have suitable footwear (no flip-flops, open-toed or high heeled shoes)

• Visitors must be able to climb the steep stairs unaided
